CLIMACTIC (2) was on the speed from the rails draw when resuming last start and battled on well to finish third over 6f at this track. In the right race and is sure to prove hard to beat. OUT OF TURN (6) is a promising type who scored at his last run before a break eight months ago over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Fitter for recent trials. Will find this tougher but shapes as one to consider. VANESSI (5) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at Warwick Farm over 5½f after being up on the pace until straightening. Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
