SIPPING SHAMUS (3) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 1. 75 lengths over 7f at Scone. Likely improver with strong prospects. CROWN LEGEND (4) went back early from his wide draw over 7f at Mudgee last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Warrants plenty of respect. STRAIGHT FIRE (5) should be at her top after three runs this prep, the latest a third over 1m at Sapphire Coast two weeks ago. Settles back early but winds up late. Don't underestimate.
