BAWNAGLEN (1) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 1m at Scone. Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at Scone over 6f. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. BRILLIANT BEAGLE (5) did little and finished 14 lengths from the winner in 11th over 5½f at Tocumwal last start, a less impressive effort than her when resuming ninth at Albury the run before. Steps up a level but she is up to the task. JACK THE BOSS (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Mudgee, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
