VENETIAN (3) has been in fair form this winter. Managed to take a step forward when third here last week tackling track and trip. Likely to run well from stall seven and looks hard to beat. SPORTING HERO (7) is a previous course and distance winner who scored attempting a shorter journey two weeks ago. Drawn low in stall one and won't be far away. THE LIFFEY (2) managed to rediscover winning ways two weeks ago. Drops in distance however rates a major threat. DONTSPOILASALE (4) disappointed here a week ago. Holds ability to spring back to form in what looks a good contest for the grade. Not far off on ratings.
