Rates strongly and looks one of the leading hopes. APUNTAR (2) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last start over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten half a length. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. SAN GABRIEL (6) got off the mark over 1m at Gosford last start, scoring by 0.8 lengths. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated.
