GRAFTERBURNERS (1) saluted last start at Doomben over this distance after he was in the firing line on the bend. Is yet to miss the frame from five starts at this distance, including three wins. Goes up a notch this time but he is expected to run well. PRESTAR (5) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Scored over 5f at Sunshine Coast to launch the last campaign. Rates highly and should take some beating. DAMIEN (2) was on the speed from the rails draw last start and battled on well to finish second over 6f at Doomben. Steps up a level but he is good enough to take this out. ICARIAN DREAM (10) made progress last time out, finishing 2. 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7f at Flemington. Another forward showing is anticipated.
