ARTISTIC ENDEAVOUR (1) is a nine-start maiden who missed the placings when resuming but has since consolidated with two straight placings, the latest over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Facing a tougher assignment but should be in the finish. CERTIFY (4) wasn't far away on debut last start over 7f at Gold Coast, finishing third and beaten 2. 5 lengths. One of the main contenders. ASTERN EFFORT (2) could only manage ninth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6¾f at Warwick, beaten 1. 1 lengths. Another forward showing is anticipated.
