DELICIOUS DEREK (2) was below his best last time when sixth over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 6 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. KING COBAMA (4) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished ninth over 7f at this track. Ran sixth in a recent trial at Gold Coast. One of the leading chances. SPOILT ROTTEN (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0. 9 lengths from the winner in third over 6f at Toowoomba. Another forward showing is anticipated.
