MEKA VIBE (2) finished one length from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 7f at this track, an improvement on his when resuming fifth at Wangaratta the run before. Has the class to produce a better result. THE MAILER (6) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 5. 5 lengths into ninth over 6f at Caulfield Heath. Will enjoy a drop in class so he can play a big role. CRAZY TOWN (3) had admirers on debut last time out over 7f at this track but was safely held in tenth, beaten 10 lengths. Likely improver and capable of a far better run. SPARKLES (9) was beaten 2. 75 lengths into fifth over 6f at this track last time out. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
