LE MONSTRE RAPIDE (5) ran below expectations last time out when ninth over 1m at this track (Dirt). Worth another chance. CAUSEWAY BENNY (2) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fifth last time out over 1m at this track. Change of jockey to C J McMahon who has a strong record when aboard with a win and three placings from four rides. Best form puts him right in this. NATIVE STAR (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track (Dirt) over 1m after being prominent from the outset. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. POPPA MAGIC (8) showed good speed over 7½f at Delta Downs (Dirt) but faded to finish fourth. Has to overcome a tricky draw. Looks to have solid claims on best form.
