TEXAS SPLURGE (3) settled towards the rear and failed to come on in the straight last start when sixth, beaten 15 lengths, over this course and distance. Has the ability to find the winners' list. PRINCE DAY (5) turned in a fine effort to win by 4 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. AMERICAN VISION (2) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 8 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
