One of the better hopes despite the layoff. VELVETEEN (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 18 lengths when tenth over 1m at this track three weeks ago. Has the class to find the winners' list. TORREY PINE (1) was lining up for just the second time last start when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Should be handy in the run.
