Has a tricky draw to overcome but he should be involved in the finish. FIRST SAMARITAN (8) resumed from a break as favourite and ran well but found one better when second over 5f at Delta Downs. Tackles a turf track for the first time. Should camp just off the leaders. Best form puts him right in this. CRIMSON RED ROAD (1) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start over 5f at Delta Downs (Dirt), beaten 9 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of a big run. DASHING DIEM (2) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in second over 5f at this track (Turf). Can figure in the finish.
