LAYTON THE DAY (3) improved sharply on his ninth two starts back at this track (Dirt) with success as favourite over 6f at this track (Dirt) six-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 10 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. FULL MAGAZINE (4) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 14 lengths into fifth over 6f at this track. Has a fair record when second up, including three top-three finishes. Tackling a more suitable race so he can play a big role. TAPIT SAM (1) was in the firing line on the turn and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. AFRICAN WARRIOR (2) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten just 1.5 lengths. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
