MONCRIEF (2) is a six-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the James M Watkins barn. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Turfway Park (Synthetic) ten weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but has filled a minor placing two times from three runs when resuming. Should prove tough to beat. CUTLASS KING (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on October 25, finishing seventh and beaten 10 lengths over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. RUNNINGFORCASH (4) disappointed at his last run four months ago when eighth at Oaklawn Park (Dirt), that effort following back-to-back wins. Looks set to run well. MIDNITE ALEX (10) has not appeared since he finished eighth over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) on October 25. Makes plenty of appeal.
