Leading contender. BUGLE (5) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 1m at Fairview when he was handy all the way. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. AETHELWULF (4) is a 16-start maiden who finished seventh after being in contention on the corner at his most recent outing over 1m2f at this track. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. MONKEY'S WEDDING (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5¾f at Turffontein Standside, beaten 30 lengths into eighth. No surprise to see him in contention.
