Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. JOE G TWENTYTHREE (1) has been in the betting recently but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished seventh over 5½f at Penn National (Dirt), beaten 6 lengths. Among the leading chances on his best figures. HONOR FOR MANDIN (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 6½f at Parx, beaten 27 lengths into seventh. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. MIDNIGHT MUSUME (3) was never in contention last time over 6f at Aqueduct (Dirt) when he finished sixth, beaten 25 lengths. Expected to feature in the finish this time.
