OBVIOUS (7) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.3 lengths over 7½f at Bendigo. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he should be in the finish again. OFFICIATE (3) got off the mark over 7¾f at Canterbury last start, scoring by a nose. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. OPTIONS (4) wound up strongly last time out to finish a head adrift in third over 1m1f at this track. Will find this much tougher but must be respected.
