    Well placed to make amends. MAGNASPIN (3) showed good early pace over 1m2f in the LR Victoria Gold Cup (Mornington Cup Prelude) at Caulfield last time and kept going to score by 0. 8 lengths. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. In a suitable race and can figure in the finish. WHISKY ON THE HILL (2) wasn't far away when resuming last start when fifth over 1m in the G3 TS Carlyon Cup at Caulfield. May appreciate the longer journey with that run under the belt. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be picking them up late. AUGUSTUS (1) scored a commanding victory in the G2 Hansa-Preis at Hamburg over 1m4f at his latest appearance on July 5.
