    Race Analysis

    LITZDEEL (13) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 1m2f at this track. Craig Williams stays aboard. Well placed and should be in the finish. DESERT HERO (6) resumed over 1m2f at this track where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish fourth, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Was outdashed but got going late and the longer journey looks ideal. Expected to measure up. WHISKY ON THE HILL (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 7 lengths back in sixth over 1m1f in the G2 Peter Young Stakes at Caulfield. One of the main contenders. PARADISE STORM (2) scored an overdue win in the G2 Auckland Cup at Ellerslie last time with a 6 length win over 2m. Untried this journey but in form and can measure up again.
