Will play a major role. MIDWEST (3) held on well to finish second last time out over 5f at this track after leading for much of the way. Sure to give a sight. PISANELLO (4) is resuming from a lay-off of ten months and having his first run for the Ben, Will & Jd Hayes yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign in the G3 Maurice McCarten Stakes at Rosehill over 5½f. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Flemington trial. Among the better hopes while fresh. MORNINGTON GLORY (1) has not appeared since he finished 12th over 5f in the G3 Concorde Stakes at Randwick on September 6. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
