APPARATE (8) ran below expectations last time at Canberra, finishing ninth and beaten 4. 5 lengths starting at 5/1. Nicely placed to turn things around. BEAUTY EDGE (1) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when seventh over 6½f at Dubbo after he was prominent at the corner. Cherry-ripe now and is expected to run well. GLOWING RAPIDS (2) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 5½f at Narromine, beaten 11 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. MISS KARIS (3) ran below expectations last time at Dubbo, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to bounce back.
