Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best figures should see her run well. DAZZLING GOLD (6) scored at her most recent appearance, getting home by half a length over 6f at Assiniboia Downs. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with three wins and two minor placings from five outings. Top chance again. GETTING AHEAD (3) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 9 lengths at this track over 5½f after being in the firing line on the bend. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including a win and three minor placings. Christopher Husbands gets the best out of this five-year-old mare. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. SOUPER COP (8) was well beaten and faded right out of it last time at this track but gets some weight relief. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is not to be discounted.
