    LIGHTNING STRIKES (5) won two starts back when resuming but couldn't back it up last time over 6f at Ipswich when eighth. May be looking for this longer trip now. Deserves another chance. TOBA (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 7f at this track, beaten 1. 4 lengths into seventh. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ARDUOUS (10) missed the frame when resuming last start over 7½f at Warwick but wasn't all that far from the winner. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the main contenders. SLY CORNER (2) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign to finish just a long neck from the winner in second over 7f at this track. No surprise to see him in the mix.
