YOUWROTEUPONIT (4) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 6f at Pakenham seven months ago and has not raced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Cranbourne trial placing. Promising type who can measure up again. NATIONAL CODE (5) broke through for her maiden win over 5½f at Kyneton last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and she cannot be discounted. NEXT STEP IOWA (6) looks to kick off this prep the way she ended the last five months ago when she scored over 6f at Ballarat. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Definite chance. TOMMYESS (3) is back from a 62 day freshen-up following a second at this track last time. Will strip fitter for a trial placing. Should camp just off the leaders.
