STUCK IN THE GORGE (7) led into the straight last start over 1m at Tamworth but could not sustain the pressure and finished ninth. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat. ERION (1) finished 2. 5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 5f190yards at Albury, an improvement on his eighth at Bathurst the run before. Has the ability to take care of this field. FORWARDING (5) is a four-start maiden who finished sixth at his most recent outing over 6f at Dubbo after he was well back on straightening. Expected to feature in the finish this time. MY Set Weights EETHEART (9) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 7 lengths into tenth over 6f at Tamworth last time out. Better than the last run suggests.
