POLITICAL DEBATE (6) got well back over 1m2f at Randwick last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 4.5 lengths away in ninth. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to play a big role. CABOCHE (5) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into sixth over 1m at Eagle Farm. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. DOUBLE CHERRY (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury, beaten 3.5 lengths. Has a very strong second up record. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. DUNE FORTY FIVE (2) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when tenth over 1m at Doomben, beaten 4 lengths. Expect a better run this time.
