MACHINE HEAD (8) found plenty to score by 2 lengths three runs back at Ipswich before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. LA PETITE MAISON (5) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was prominent at the bend before being beaten 2 lengths into fourth over 5½f at Ipswich. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
