WATERMELON (1) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being prominent at the corner over 1m1 1/2f at this track, beaten 1. 5 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Likely improver with strong prospects. TROPIC SANDS (2) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 7f152yards at this track. Should be near his peak for this. Going well and has strong prospects. IRON GRACE (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when ninth in a 1m1/4f contest at Doomben a week-and-a-half ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is likely to play a big role. SETTAT (3) finished fourth last start over 1m1f at Sunshine Coast after racing on the pace for much of the way. Can figure in the finish.
