VOS SAVANT (9) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 7½f at Eagle Farm. Will be tough to hold out. EVERY HEART (7) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at Doomben two starts back then scored by 1. 75 lengths last time out over 6¾f at Doomben. Finds an easier assignment and can salute again. DOWNEY (2) made significant late ground last start to get up for third over 6½f at Toowoomba. Expected to be there at the business end. I STOLE IT (8) fought on for third last start over 7f at this track, beaten 1. 75 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Finds a suitable race and can make it to the winner's circle.
