SMACKEROONY (7) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by 1. 3 lengths over 5½f at Dalby last start. Good record at this journey with two wins and three minor placings from six starts and is sure to run well. HERECOMESANTORINI (8) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when sixth over 5½f at Gatton after being in contention on the bend. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. ON THE TARGET (10) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a lay-off last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 0. 8 lengths, over 5½f at Ipswich. Well-placed and can feature in the finish.
