KING OF MINTO (2) finished third at Doomben two runs back but was less effective last time over 6f at Gold Coast, finishing 8 lengths back in eighth. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. TARPS (4) went forward and proved too strong when resuming last time out, scoring by 2. 5 lengths over 5f at Gold Coast. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ADALIE (6) ran below expectations last time at Dalby, finishing fifth and beaten 10 lengths starting at 13/2. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. SPIRIT OF BRODIE (3) showed good speed and fought on for third over 5f at Toowoomba last time. Not to be discounted.
