Winning rider Tyler Schiller sticks and she looks sure to be in the mix. RIPLEY (2) hasn't raced since finishing third in the LR Amanda Elliott (VRC Springtime Stakes) at Flemington 54 days ago. Has the benefit of a recent trial. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from three starts. Has to be respected. BENEVAC (3) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a long neck, over 5½f at Canterbury when resuming after a lay-off. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Sure to be thereabouts.
