GYRA (6) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Nikki Pollock yard. Hasn't raced since finishing ninth at Donald four-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for placing in a Tamworth trial and is in a nice race. Can make an immediate impact. SAVANNA GOLDEN BOY (7) hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Wyong over 6½f four weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial at Beaumont (Newcastle). Rates highly and looks a definite winning hope. TORREY PINES (8) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 7f at Orange. Expected to feature in the finish this time. BLUE SUEDE HOOVES (2) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Port Macquarie, beaten 1. 3 lengths. Will strip fitter this time. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
