Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Should be in this for a long way. DUBAI WARRIOR (18) settled towards the tail then wound up strongly to finish 2 lengths away in third when resuming last start over 6½f at this track. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. INSPIRED STAR (10) was far from disgraced when fifth last start over 6½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 1.75 lengths after he did his best work in the closing stages. That followed a win at Hawkesbury the start prior. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. EMPRESS OF JAPAN (15) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Kembla Grange over 6f after she was well back on straightening. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
