THE BUS (3) stepped out for his debut over 6f at Wagga back on June 22 and finished tenth, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Expected to be right there at the business end. MARITIME EXPRESS (1) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish eighth at the latest run over 6½f at Scone. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Kembla Grange. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
