TURF LUCK (1) improved last time out, finishing 0. 9 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6f at this track after being prominent at the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. THE WAY AHEAD (5) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was prominent at the turn before being beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 6f at Wyong. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. BRIGHT PROMISE (9) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 2. 5 lengths away in fifth over 7f at Randwick Kensington after being prominent at the turn. Won't find this as tough so she is likely to play a big role. WESTERN LANE (2) returns after seven months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 7f at Newcastle. Has trialled very well leading into this. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
