Hard to beat in this suitable race. HOWIE DO IT (4) drifted back then closed strongly to score as favourite on debut over 5¼f at Leeton five months ago and has not been produced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Canberra trial placing. Promising type who can go back-to-back. ZOUTEMPUS (5) turned in a fine effort to score by a long neck at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. RIPPANA (6) finished fourth over 5f at Sapphire Coast when resuming last start, beaten only 1. 1 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
