SIMPLY SONNET (8) had good support on debut but ran below expectations when fifth over 5½f at Dubbo. Better for that hitout and is one of the main contenders. NAYSTAR (4) is a first starter by Star Turn who was purchased for AUD $ 6,000 (Magic Millions 2025 Gold Coast National Yearling Sale). Among the placings in recent trial and Jett Newman sticks with him. Can play a role.
