Tackles a longer journey this time. Sure to prove very tough to beat. CONNOISSEUR (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only one length over 7f at Scottsville. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. SILVER PLATTER (4) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1m2f at Greyville. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. KING BAVARIAN (6) dug deep to score when fresh from a lay-off two runs back then was beaten 5. 5 lengths into sixth over 1m2f at this track last time four weeks ago. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Should give backers a sight.
