PRINCE OF DANGER (1) was a new acquisition for the Nicholas Esler stable last start when he made steady ground to run into second over 1m1/4f at this track (Synthetic) at the first run back from a lay-off. Looks a great chance in this suitable contest. DISTINGUISHED GENT (9) is a six-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 5 lengths when fifth over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. TAPSTICK (2) made a nice return in a then met with solid backing but disappointed when sixth over 1m1/2f at Meadowlands (Turf) six-and-a-half weeks ago. Fitter so don't underestimate.
