ENDRICK (6) improved last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7f at this track after being prominent at the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. SOUND OF THE BEAST (3) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end before most recently finished second over 6½f at this track. Certainly worth another chance. CHAPLIN (7) finished ninth over 1m1/4f at Gulfstream Park All Weather (Synthetic) at his most recent appearance on January 4. Makes plenty of appeal. TORCH IS PASSED (2) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on December 20, finishing seventh and beaten 9 lengths over 5½f at Gulfstream Park All Weather (Synthetic). Should camp just off the leaders. Should give backers a sight.
