FLYING IMPALA (4) was below his best last time when ninth over 5f at Randwick, beaten 7 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. LAMBAY (2) ran a strong race when resuming at Goulburn then went to town last time and could only manage 12th over 7f at Randwick. Can bounce back to his best form. STAR OF IDA (12) is back from a six months lay-off and she does run well when resuming, including a win over 5½f at Wodonga at the start of last prep. Ran fourth in a trial at Wodonga over 4f recently. Solid chance. DIVAZOU (8) started at 2/1 last time but could only manage sixth, beaten 4. 5 lengths, at Albury over 5f190yards. Carly Frater has registered two minor placings when on board. Best figures stack up.
