    ARTFUL LADY (12) showed promise on debut last time out when in the money over 6f at Queanbeyan, beaten 1. 1 lengths. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so she is worth following up. UNCLE BARRY (1) made progress last time out, finishing 2. 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5f at Kembla Grange. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running a bold race. APPLE EYES (11) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten half a length when fourth in a 6½f contest at Wangaratta a week-and-a-half ago. Going up a level this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. BELBOWRIE (9) settled well back and made a little late ground when 3 lengths away in fourth over 5f at Canberra on debut last start. Strong top-three chance.
