SHIVERMEPINK (2) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 1.2 lengths back in third over 5f at Gosford. Nicely placed to take this out. BASTET (3) showed good early speed last start on debut and fought on well to hold third, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 5½f at Gosford. Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. MANUKAU (5) faced the starter for the first time and finished fifth last start at Rosehill over 6f, beaten 4 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well. DODGY FRECKLE (9) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time over 6f at Bathurst when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a neck. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be ruled out.
