AFFERMATO (1) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7½f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. DALIO (3) finds it hard to win with just one success from 17 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m1f at Randwick Kensington, beaten 1.75 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. TORPEDO TED (13) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid second over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle, beaten 0.9 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CASABLANCA EXPRESS (2) ran below expectations last start, finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths at Gosford over 1m. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
