THE LITTLE GENERAL (8) was in the money at Gosford when resuming two runs back then could only manage fifth at Gosford over 6f a week-and-a-half ago. Has the addition of blinkers. Capable of sharp improvement and can get off the mark. MANUKAU (11) returns from a lay-off of nine months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished fifth at Rosehill over 6f when when resuming last time in work. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 4f98yards at Canterbury. Has found the right race and can take this out. BLAZING FUTURE (2) settled well back last time out and never threatened when 3. 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7½f at Kembla Grange. Better than that last start suggests and is open to sharp improvement. ONMALONE (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¼f at Canterbury, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
