DAD AND DAVE (1) made it two wins in succession last time out when he scored by 1. 3 lengths over 1m2f in the LR Launceston Guineas. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. JOHNICH (2) ran on strongly only to just miss last start over 1m2f at Flemington. Ready to go one better. HELIOSON (7) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 6 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m2f at Flemington three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Blinkers removed. One of the main hopes. STOLE HIM (6) was beaten 3 lengths into sixth over 1m1f at Caulfield at his latest appearance. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
