ALPINE HONEY (1) improved last time out, finishing 2. 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m1/4f at Devonport Synthetic after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. GENUINE LADY (4) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by half a length over 7f at Launceston. Nicely drawn and she looks sure to be in the mix. ARGYLL DIAMOND (5) ran a better race last start to finish sixth over 5½f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Tackles a longer journey this time around and can feature without surprising.
