FLYING FIZZ (4) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 7f contest at Caulfield four weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. BIG SEXY (3) opened this prep eight days ago and scored over 5½f at Hamilton, getting home by 2. 75 lengths. Should be in this for a long way. GUERITE (12) has enjoyed a let-up of five-and-a-half weeks since she won when resuming over 6f27yards at Geelong, scoring by a long neck. Open to plenty of improvement and she looms as a significant threat. GUNADO (11) ran a better race last start, finishing 3 lengths away in fourth over 6f at Benalla. John Allen gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Finds a nice race and can atone.
